Once the matches are gone, the cloche can be a curiosity re-used to display a found specimen. Skeem Design was founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Suji Meswani and Geoff Weiser. The name, Skeem, comes from the couple’s “scheme” to find a way out of the corporate grind in an effort to fully realize their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. They created a lifestyle with a healthy work-life balance that allows them to spend more time in nature and travelling. This has proven to be a large source of inspiration for their boutique home fragrance range that features candles, perfumes, incense, and match bottles. Their mission has always been to create beautiful, useful products, eliminate excess packaging, and to produce as much of the line in the US as possible. Many of their products are designed to be reusable. Match bottles can be refilled or repurposed to hold a single flower stem. Empty Field Jars and Match Cloches can be used to display a found object, and their modern candle vessels are great for holding bathroom, kitchen, and desk items.
